8:30am Wednesday 11th Jun 2003 News Server Changes All news server names nsw.news.telstra.net, nsw.nnrp.telstra.net and loomi.telstra.net have been updated to point to a newer device reader.news.telstra.net with IP address 203.50.2.94. The new device has increased news article storage and retention capabilities. Please note that further redundancy strategies are proposed and the IP address of the news server may change. Therefore it is recommended that all NNRP customers start utilising the server name reader.news.telstra.net. Customers may need to download newsgroup listings again and refresh their subscriptions after the change. |

Monday 08 Mar 1999 Keeping your Internet Account Secure It is very important to minimise the risk of others using your Internet Account. The Internet Industry Association has put together some simple things that you can do on one of their web-pages at www.iia.net.au/news/990104.html. It covers things from being careful with your choice of password to checking for programs on your system which you may be unaware of, and give others access to your information.
